Ramadan, the holy month when the Quran was revealed for the first time falls in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. United Arab Emirates (UAE) declared the start of Ramadan as a public holiday. All Muslims around the world are obliged to fast from the dawn until sunset for the whole month of Ramadan.
